Who owns my domain name?
The domain belongs to your business, whether it is paid for separately or included in the Complete Annual package. It remains yours when hosting ends. Assistance is available with transferring or managing the domain, subject to any outstanding domain charges. Renewal fees apply after any included registration period.
Will my website ever go offline?
Hosting is managed to support dependable website availability. Brief interruptions may occasionally occur during maintenance or because of network, hosting or security issues. Reported interruptions are investigated with the hosting provider to help restore normal service.
What security features are included?
Every hosting plan includes an SSL certificate for encrypted connections, automated malware scanning and DDoS protection to help filter malicious traffic. These safeguards form part of ongoing website protection, with additional action taken where an issue requires attention. Website files are backed up as standard practice to support recovery if an issue occurs.
Can I cancel my hosting?
Monthly plans may be cancelled at any time. The current billing month remains payable, and hosting continues until that paid month ends; future monthly charges then stop. Annual plans are paid upfront and do not automatically renew for another year. A standard annual cancellation schedules hosting to end at the close of the paid 12-month period. Applicable statutory early-cancellation and refund rights remain available.
Who owns the website files?
The HTML files and original website code created by Wiehahn Web Designs remain the property of Wiehahn Web Designs, unless stated otherwise. Your domain and any content supplied by your business remain yours.
Can I change my website after it goes live?
Website content can be updated after launch. Active Support includes changes to existing text, images and business information, while Complete Annual includes monthly touch-ups. Larger additions, new features and redesigns are quoted separately. Content changes are not included in Essential Hosting.
